The historic industrial buildings 6 and 8 on the Sartorius Quartier were customized for university use by the HAWK and UMG and converted with seminar rooms, lecturers' offices and examination facilities.
For this purpose, the buildings were completely gutted and reduced to the building-period structure of large hall spaces. The partition walls then required for university work were created entirely as fire-resistant glass, so that the robust basic structure of the buildings can be experienced.
