Sartorius House 8, Göttingen

The existing building was part of the new factory built in 1898 by the Sartorius company on Weender Landstrasse in Göttingen. The building project House 8 spatially almost poetically tells the story and development of today's DAX company Sartorius AG.
The tower represents the growth of the company over 150 years. On different paths, all the routes of the factory premises crossed this building, the tower served as a distributor vertically and horizontally. The building had to be completely gutted for structural reasons. Inside, a new high-contrast building made of concrete can be experienced.
