Covering an entire storey, the upper middle-class historic apartment in a landmarked art-nouveau building in the Isestrasse is typical for turn-of-the-century residential architecture in Hamburg's Eppendorf and Harvestehude districts.
The elaborate constructional and technologically cutting-edge restoration and interior refurbishment were based on the historic art nouveau floor plan and, together with the new furnishings and light design, create a contemporary interaction between the rooms. All operations undertaken on the building substance were performed with keen attention to craftsmanship and historic restoration standards.
